Renault racer Carlos Sainz has shared his impressions of the debut at Rally Monte Carlo.
On Sunday, the son of double world champion drove the WRC in the car Renault Mégane R. S in the final of 13.5-kilometer stage before the start of the combat crews.
“This is a special experience! – quotes the science press-service of the Renault. I’ve always wanted to drive behind the wheel of a rally car with a Navigator reading the transcript at a good pace. Finally I was able to do it, and I loved it.
The car behaved well. Steering worked precisely, and the suspension was quite hard on twisty sections. In General, I liked it. In some places the track was slippery, allowing me to feel the character of the Rally Monte Carlo. I got a great experience. Thanks to everyone who made this event possible.”
