The Hyundai driver Andreas Mikkelsen completed the first day of the Rally Australia in the leading position with an advantage of 20 seconds.
The Norwegian, who won last year’s Australian stage together with Volkswagen, the maximum advantage of ninth position in the start list and has won five of the eight special stages on Friday.

Throughout the greater part of the day main rival Mikkelsen was Cirtoen racer Kris Meeke, but at the final stage he missed ahead of Thierry Neuville, who is now inferior to 0.7 seconds.
In the battle for the fourth place winner on the first day came Jari-Matti Latvala. Finn, who plays for Toyota, ahead of only 0.9 seconds, Craig Breen, while the Irish two seconds away from Ott tyanaka.
