Vladimir Vasiliev shared his impressions of the rally-marathon “Africa Eco race-2018”, who finished on 14 January on the shores of the Pink lake in Senegal.
The G-Energy Team crew scored a second place at the final 12-m stage and the honorable second position in the General classification, behind only Mathieu Serratore buggy.
“It should be noted that if last year the race was largely prepared for a buggy, this is only for the buggy. We had planned to take the position, and we weren’t that bad if not for the unfortunate breakage of small parts. Technology in General works fine – it is the result of good work of our entire team, but if not that day with a broken roller, maybe things would be different – quoted Vasilyev, the press service of G-Energy. – The race is very interesting, we are glad that the winner was a worthy opponent. Next year, if my health allows, I plan to go to the “Dakar” in South America.”
