The crew of G-Energy consisting of pilot Vladimir Vasilyev and co-driver Konstantin Zhiltsov lost the lead in the overall standings of the “Africa Eco race-2018” at the end of the eighth stage of the rally-RAID from Chami to Azuga.
The winner of the Mauritanian stage was Mathieu Serratore and Vasiliev Mini showed the 14th time, losing to the Frenchman in 1 hour and 22 minutes. Thus, in the General classification, Carradori dismissed Vladimir in second place: now the Russians behind Mathieu in 1 hour and 6 minutes.
Suprotec Racing crew consisting of Andrey Rudskoy and Evgeniy Zagorodnyuk finished the day 23-m, and Denis Krotov BMW showed a 26-th result. In the standings moles is tenth, and rudskoy – 20th.
