World champion Formula 1 2007 Kimi Raikkonen has ruled out the possibility of a debut in the “500 miles of Indianapolis”.
After the performances of Fernando Alonso at the “Old Kirpichnaya” a number of his colleagues confirmed the interest to participate in significant race IndyCar, but not his former teammate at Ferrari.
Kevin Magnussen has stated that he would like to go to IndyCar after his career in F1
“Actually, I have no such desire, said Kimi, answering questions of readers of F1 Racing. – Indy 500 – amazing race, and Yes, a few years ago I probably could be solved in part, but not now.”
Instead, Raikkonen is thinking about returning to the world rally championship, where he played in 2010 and 2011.
“Maybe I’ll have a few stages for fun. Hope I get the opportunity – told Kimi about his plans after a career in Formula 1. Also several times I was offered to test a WRX. The car in this championship looks amazing and resembles the technique of the WRC, but it is more powerful. It would be nice to get behind the wheel at least once”.
