The international automobile Federation said the name of the first provider system, “halo”, which became the Dutch company CP Tech.
During the development process, the manufacturer has met all the necessary requirements prescribed by the FIA, and is now eligible to start work with the teams.
“We chose the CP Tech as our technology partner because they provided interesting engineering solutions”, – quotes the press service of the FIA’s head of security Andy Mellor.
In the next month mandatory protection system will receive commands F1 and F2, and at the end of the year “halo” will appear on the new generation of cars of Formula E, which starts in the fifth season of the electric racing series.
