Next week on 10 January, the Executive Director of the Formula 1 chase Carey will meet with the mayor of Copenhagen, Frank Jensen, to discuss the possibility of holding an urban race, according to F1i.
Participation in the meeting will also be attended by the Minister of industry Brian Mikkelsen, a specialist in technology and development, Helge sander, and the former owner of the Saxo Bank Lars Seir Christensen.
According to local media reports, the cost of holding the Formula 1 Grand Prix on the streets of the capital of Denmark will cost 40-65 million euros per year. Final decision will be made by 1 February.
If the deal is agreed upon, the inaugural race will take place in 2020.
