Four-time world champion Lewis Hamilton admitted that he doesn’t like asphalt security zone on most tracks on the F1 calendar.
According to the Mercedes driver, driving outside of the track should lead to loss of time, and do not give an advantage.
“The FIA has done a wonderful job of improving the security, but I think that they shouldn’t have touched the relegation zone – said Hamilton in an interview with the BBC. – Of course, never want to hurt the machine, but leaving the track should lead to loss of time. I don’t like the understanding that in case of an error while entering a corner you can take a little more and then quietly get back on track”.
