18-year-old Manager in the kitchen Brandon Lee became the first ever winner of the virtual Formula 1 championship eSports Series.
The competition was organized jointly by Liberty Media, Codemasters and Gfinity on the basis of the game F1 2017. Of the 40 selected participants in the final, which was held in Abu Dhabi in the two-day format, reached the top 20 of simracers, and the third and final race remained four contenders for the title.
Brandon Lee led the standings even after the victory in the first race on the track name Gilles Villeneuve, but in the second race, which was held in Spa, only qualified 15th and finished eighth.

The final race, the Briton started second on the start and led the virtual peloton, but closer to the finish line behind the other contender for the title of Fabrizio Donoso. The title was decided in the last lap, when Lee attacked and passed his rival in the battle for the victory.
Interestingly, the first ever champion of Formula 1 eSports Series was piloted by a virtual machine Daniel quata.
