In 2015 and 2016, Honda used Esso fuel and lubricants Mobil 1, but in 2017 American brand of ExxonMobil has gone to Red Bull Racing. Accordingly, the Junior Red Bull team, namely Toro Rosso also moved to ExxonMobil products.
McLaren, in turn, entered into an agreement with Castrol/BP.
But at the end of season 2017 McLaren will complete cooperation with the Japanese and will go to Renault, and Honda will supply engines to Toro Rosso.
It is reported that Toro Rosso and Honda decided to make a joint choice in favor of fuels and lubricants ExxonMobil in light of the serious success achieved by the Red Bull in this direction.
