Formula 1 has introduced its new logo at the end of the final Grand Prix of the season in 2017 in Abu Dhabi, which was won by Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas.
The logo was presented immediately after the flash interview Bottas, Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel on the podium in the UAE.

“We wanted the new logo was the beginning of a global restart of the brand F1, which will happen in March [at the start of the 2018 season], – said the commercial Director of F1 Sean Bratches. – We will have a new graphic design for television product, a new web platform and social potential.
This is F1, we must prepare for the future. We needed to define a reference point for our partners, promoters, sponsors and new partner for merchandising next year. We decided that this is the most opportune moment”.
