The international automobile Federation as a gesture of goodwill gave back to the Manor team entry fee for the season 2017, paid in November last year, reports AUTOSPORT.
The team paid 522 322 dollars, but start in Melbourne did not. New investors could not be found, and in January it was announced the closure of the team.
Formally the FIA had the right not to return the paid amount, but decided to help the Manor Group to pay at least part of the debts to suppliers.
As noted in the official statement, will be refunded entry fee minus the administrative expenses of the FIA.
