Racer Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen has shared his opinion about the possible return of Robert Kubica in Formula 1 after his enforced six-year hiatus.
“From outside it is difficult to assess the performance of Kubica on the tests in Hungary, – quotes Verstappen edition of Speed Week. – Only the team knows how he was dealing with an injured hand and how much fuel was in the tanks. But personally I would love him to come back to Formula 1. It would be a terrific story.”

Also, the Dutchman welcomed the participation in tests of his former F3 rival Lucas Auer, now acting in the DTM.
“We raced together in karts and F3. Lucas is a very nice guy, and I’m glad he got the opportunity to conduct tests behind the wheel of the machine Force India. I hope in the future he will take the place of combat pilot in Formula 1,” added Verstappen.
