Multiple series champion, Dutch billionaire Klas Zwart piloting Jaguar, tried to overtake a rider on a slower machine, but he noticed and pushed off the track. The car flew through the paved safety zone and crashed into a guardrail, then rolled over. The pilot was not injured, but the car received severe damage to the underbody, suspension, drivetrain, and because of the lack of spare parts to restore it before the end of the weekend failed.
