Mercedes didn’t leave chances to rivals since the beginning of the era of hybrid power units V6: in the period from 2014 to 2016 inclusive, the team won 51 of the 59 Grand Prix.
However, at the start of season 2017, the team won only one race out of three, while in two Grand Prix success was celebrated Ferrari with the efforts of Sebastian Vettel.
“Yes, our three-year dominance of F1 ended, – said Toto in an interview with Swiss newspaper Blick. – It is not always played into the hands of F1. That’s why the fans are looking forward to a fantastic battle for the championship”.
