The debut of Fernando Alonso in a Ferrari came in the first Grand Prix of the 2010 season in Bahrain.
The Spaniard finished the qualification on the Sahir third, losing to Sebastian Vettel and Felipe Massa, and most of the race was riding in second place, chasing the riders Red Bull Racing.
However, after the halfway point of the race, the German started to slow down because of engine trouble, which allowed Fernando to get ahead of Sebastian in the 33rd round.
The race was won by Alonso, and Vettel got to finish only in fourth place. Nevertheless, the German became the world champion that year, beating the Spaniard by four points in the final overall standings.
