Valtteri Bottas was fastest on the second day of tests
“We had a day of mixed emotions. It wasn’t the best way – quotes AUTOSPORT.com Vettel. – First, we lost a lot of time due to technical problems, which eventually resolved.
And then we had problems with the electricity supply. Garage is completely de-energized. We lost about two hours to resume the electricity supply.
On the track we at least managed to test a few things. The first day of testing was good for Antonio [Giovinazzi]: he performed most of the program, and we, in turn, were able to crosscheck the obtained data.
Ideally it would be great to drive more laps, but we still managed to reel a certain mileage.”
In addition, Vettel said that not paying attention to the test working of the Mercedes.
“I don’t know what they [Mercedes] were doing. Therefore, the results table has no value, – said Sebastian. They worked all day. When we appeared on the track after lunch, I have not watched them. Before I had a chance to watch [for Mercedes].
I, in turn, is pleased with the car. During the racing weekend we had a good balance, and we managed to keep him in for tests.”
