The Ferrari pilot Sebastian Vettel believes that in cool conditions Sochi SF70H will be as competitive as in the heat of Bahrain.
In recent years, it is considered that the Ferrari performs better in conditions of hot weather and at low temperatures the machine is experiencing problems.
However, Vettel cited the example of the Grand Prix of China-2017: throughout the weekend in Shanghai was cool, but this did not prevent the Germans to hold a solid race and to finish it the second.
“I don’t think we’ll have any problems in Sochi for the reason that there will be lower temperatures than in Bahrain,’ said Sebastian in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport. – In China it was cool weather, but we were still competitive.
I don’t know what the weather will be in Sochi. Projections are constantly changing, so we will act according to the situation.
Our task is to exert pressure on its main competitors, especially for Lewis Hamilton. Up to this point from a tactical point of view, Ferrari has worked perfectly. You need to concentrate solely on yourself.”
