Until the completion of racing career pilot Haas Romain Grosjean intends to win the legendary marathon “24 hours of Le Mans” in which he participated in 2010.
However, the Frenchman hinted that he will try to win on the ring Carte only after retiring from Formula 1.
“Before final retirement from the sport I want to win “24 hours of Le Mans,” said Romaine. – I am sure that after F1 I have the time. But now I’m not in a hurry.
I already played there in 2010 and fell in love with this race. It would be great to celebrate the victory at Le Mans”.
At the same time Grosjean has criticized Fernando Alonso, who for the sake of the Indianapolis 500 will miss the Monaco Grand Prix-2017. Romaine shocked by the decision of the Spaniard, who decided to skip the most prestigious stage of the calendar for another series.
“We compete in the most prestigious world championship to a new and faster vehicles – continued the Frenchman. – I am surprised that he is willing to miss the best race of the F1 in Monaco to go to other competitions.
I will say for myself: if I had a contractual commitment to the F1 team, I would not have done so.”
