This will give the opportunity to improve the tires.
At the moment we are negotiating with all teams. Let’s see who of them will agree to do the tests. The season is very rich, so it will be difficult to find those teams that agree to work with us.
In General, they always support us and try to help. I’m sure we can find some groups for extra sessions.
I think that the stage in Barcelona we will have information about who will be able to provide their old car”.
Despite the fact that the Italian manufacturer will test the new rubber on old cars with old size rims, Isola said: “In some specific areas we can test new stuff and obtain important information for the development of tyres in 2018.
As the number of test days for the cars-2017 are limited, we can do some work on the cars of the past, in the future to test a smaller number of prototypes of rubber on the current technique.”
