Bad weather has made adjustments to the schedule for the race weekend of the WTCC in Motegi, which will be held on 28-29 October.
As reported by AUTOSPORT, the Typhoon was detained transportation of racing cars from China to Japan. The organizers have decided to compensate teams for lost time and give the opportunity to safely prepare and check the equipment ahead of the stage.
The first training session, as planned, will be held on Saturday, but in the second half of the day – at 15:15 (11:15 Moscow time), while all other sessions, including the qualifications and MAC3 will be held on Sunday.
11:15-12:00: the First training
04:00-04:45: Second training session
05:40-6:00: the First segment of qualifying
06:05-06:15: Second segment of qualifying
06:20: Third qualifying segment
06:40-06:55: Time-trial MAC3
10:15-10:40 am: open Race (11 laps)
11:30-12:00: the Main race (13 laps)
