Aurelien Panis has decided to leave the team Zengo Motorsport WTCC, reports AUTOSPORT.com.
In 2017 the son of ex-F1 pilot, Olivier Panis, who previously played in a single formula, he decided to try himself in touring cars, having a deal with the team in WTCC.
However, after five stages of the season-2017 Panis not impressed with the results: his best finish of tenth place in the opening race in Morocco and Hungary.
Thus, Aurelien took the decision to leave the WTCC. Soon he will announce about the participation in other series in which it will continue to support Honda France.
As for Zengo Motorsport, on stage in Argentina teammate Daniel Nadia is Zsolt Szabo.
It is reported that before the end of the season a place in the second car of the WTCC Zengo will get the pilots, which best manifest themselves in the program team in the ETCC.
