World champion 2012 Rob Huff posted the fastest time in the afternoon session of the first day WTCC test in Monza.
The Munnich Motorsport driver ahead of almost 0.3 seconds Mehdi Bennani, while the WTCC newcomer Yann Urlacher became the third private behind the wheel of the Lada Vesta.
Huff led the Protocol most of the day. In the morning the British conquered the round 1.52,888, while the formal result 1.53,039, too, proved unbeatable.
At the end of the day, Erlacher several times exchanged best times with Tom Chilton from Sebastien Loeb Racing, leaving the British in the end of the fourth.
Yvan Muller was fastest among Polestar Volvo, having conceded to the leader of 1.3 seconds.
Re Michigami was able to place his Honda to ninth place. For the Japanese maker of the day was not entirely successful, because parts for the new upgraded Civic WTCC arrived gradually throughout the day.
Norbert Michelis and Tiago Monteiro drove less all circles and was eventually classified only on the 11th and 12th positions.
