Citroen technical Director Laurent Fregosi explained the bad start of the campaign in 2017 the team’s lack of time to prepare.
On the first two stages of the season-2017 Citroen is clearly losing the main factory competitors and now occupies the fourth place in the drivers ‘ manufacturers.
After the departure of Volkswagen from Citroen WRC it was considered one of the favorites this year, but in Monte Carlo and Sweden, the French team has not impressed with its results.
The best result in 2017 for the team are two fifth place Craig Breen.

In Mexico, the Citroen will be represented by Kris Meeke and stéphane Lefebvre and Craig Breen will be back behind the wheel of the car already in Argentina. It is expected that at the April Rally Corsica Citroen for the first time in 2017 and will exhibit three machines.
“We have analyzed your approach to the settings of the car and this helped us to identify areas that need to improve,’ said team principal Yves Matton. – We are eager to show a high level of performances in Mexico.
