After four special stages of the Rally Sweden Jari-Matti Latvala was able to re-take the lead.
Despite the fact that the Toyota driver managed to win the first stage, immediately ahead of Thierry Neuville of Hyundai. However the Belgian, who was leading the big part of the Rally Monte Carlo, waylaid nuisance in Sweden in the form of hitting the stone.
