Compared to the standard six-hour race it will be 50% of the points. In the race “1500 miles of Sebring”, scheduled for March 2019, a victory will be worth 32 points, i.e. + 25%.
In the pit lane teams simultaneously with refuelling and change of tyres will be allowed other work on the machine, such as, for example, purification of a body or checking the brakes.
Instead of a competition of manufacturers in LMP1 now is the team competition. The entry fee for participation in the main class will be 310 000 EUR.
