Former F1 racer Bruno Senna will join the team Rebellion Racing, have fallen into the category LMP2 in the WEC.
Senna will be team-mates Nelson Piquet Jr, Nicolas Prost and Mathias Besh. All the staff will present two of the crew driving the car ORECA-Gibson 07.
How it will be distributed to the riders in carriages, and who will be signed from the owners of “silver” status will be known later.
“I’m extremely excited to be a part of the team Rebellion Racing in 2017 – said the 33-year-old Senna. The team is doing everything to its structure was the most competitive – that is what she will qualify for the championship and victory at Le Mans in the LMP2 category”.
Previously Rebellion have announced that they are going to leave the LMP1 class, where among the private teams, it was out of competition with the revival of the WEC in 2012.
One of the two ORECA car has already taken part in the official Dunlop tests last week in Sebringe, while the debut will take place next month in the daily marathon in Daytona in the IMSA championship. The car will drive Nick Heidfeld, Neal Jani, Sebastien Buemi and Stephane Sarrazin.
