Long rally-RAID (with 4 to 10 October) ended today in Airpurge. The crew of G-Energy led a bitter struggle, fighting on equal terms with the participants, the speakers for the factory team.
First place in the overall classification of the race took Nasser al-Attiyah and Mathieu Baumel on the Toyota.
Multiple world champion and winner of “Dakar” almost eight minutes ahead of the factory Peugeot team and its pilot Sebastien Loeb.
Third place was won by Spaniard Nani Roma. The fourth position was taken by Jakub Przygonski.
“The most difficult day of the race was the first, – said Vladimir Vasiliev. – Made it long enough, more than 380 kilometers, which we started not votives. It was tiring and tough physically.
Further days did not seem difficult, plus the special stages have reduced. Can’t say that the race was hard, but I love Morocco and I always try to drive this rally as a preparation for the winter “Dakar” or the “Africa Eco race”.
