Sports Director of the Formula 1, Ross brown spoke about how in the future can solve the problem with the overabundance of stages in the calendar, and their replacement in the case of the emergence of new venues.
The owners of F1, Liberty Media, often talk about wanting to spend about 25 races per season. So far, however, to extend the calendar of the championship they are in no hurry.
“It’s about quality, not quantity of races. About expansion should be considered when all of the Grand Prix will be held at the highest level, Mr brown said in an interview with British Airways Business Life. Personally, I wish that in the future we had a rating with the existing trails and tracks that are waiting for their turn. If some race will be held is not the best way, it will be possible to replace it with the race from the waiting list.”
