Executive Director of McLaren Zac brown believes that the team from Woking will get a chance to fight for podiums and victory in the season 2018, when its machines will stand power plant of Renault.
After a disastrous three-year partnership with Honda in the McLaren decided to terminate the existing contract with the Japanese manufacturer and the following year the British team will begin its work with French partners.
When Zach asked if McLaren hopes to fight for podiums and winning races in 2018, brown said: “This is our goal.
We are confident in the Renault engines. You need to understand that they have many achievements in F1: they’ve won half the League titles over the last 10-15 years.”
