The pilot of Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen has told about the expectations from the Grand Prix of Brazil, which will be held at the Interlagos circuit next weekend.
“After last year’s exciting race, we look forward to another successful performance in Interlagos, – quotes Verstappen press service of Red Bull Racing. – I really liked the Grand Prix 2016 – it was a lot of fighting and overtaking, I was able to climb the podium.
I hope in the course of the weekend, this year the rains come back. I don’t think we can be competitive on a dry track.
Brazilian fans every year fervently support us and even sing in the stands. Always very nice to feel the atmosphere before the start. Brazil has a rich history in F1, and it feels good for a weekend”.
Partner Dutchman in the team Daniel ricciardo added: “I really like South America, and I’m always happy to come to Brazil. It was great to race on a wet track last year. I hope this time the rain coming, too, because I know that such conditions will be able to speak better.
Not to say that the circuit itself I particularly like. There are no remarkable high-speed sections. The lap is quite slow and short that it is not very interesting. But that does not mean I will not strive to be a good result.”
