The owner of Haas gene Haas has told that counts on the progress of the team in the next five years.
In 18 races in 2017 American team scored 47 points, which is five more than at the end of the debut season, but ranks eighth in the constructors ‘ championship, while last year was seventh.
“If in five years we will not achieve significant progress and the desired results, you have to think about the advisability of further participation in the Formula 1, – said Haas in an interview with AutoWeek. – During this time we may have the opportunity to make a big step forward, you only need to use it. I hope we at least are engaged in a struggle in the middle group and will qualify for a little more, and then we will move on.
I would like in ten years to win the race. If that doesn’t work, then we failed.”
