For the Grand Prix of Malaysia the pilot of the Renault Jolyon Palmer twice went to turn two laps that didn’t allow him to score points in Sepang.
In the end, Jolyon has finished only 15-m.
“I think that was faster [Hulkenberg], Palmer said in comments AUTOSPORT.com. But I lost control of the car because he was driving too close to him.
In this corner rose a strong wind: when you exit the slipstream I got caught in a strong gust and lost control of the rear part of the machine.
On the next lap the rear tyres are not cooled after the first turn. I saw behind Verstappen, held me in the circle: after overtaking he immediately built ahead of me, which I again lost downforce.
Immediately after the first turn I was too ambitious plan, which was to deter Kevin [Magnussen]. We have been a bit of contact – I am glad that the stewards applied the penalty.
If we talk about pace, we were close to the end zone. Without turns I would have finished 11-m”.
