Renault rookie Carlos Sainz I’m sure that in the end of season 2017 it will be hard to beat new teammate Nico Hulkenberg.
After qualifying in Suzuka it became known that Sainz will leave Toro Rosso after the Japanese Grand Prix and will start the race weekend in Austin as part of Renault, which will replace Jolyon Palmer.
“Nico was driving this car for 16 races, and I have no one,’ said Carlos. – I need time to adjust to the new car. Of course, I will try to show their speed as quickly as possible, but it is a complicated process. I’ll have to work hard.
I was not against to finish the season in the Toro Rosso, however, early transition in the Renault is also very important. This gives you the opportunity to meet the team and to adapt to the new machine.
The remaining four of the race will help me feel more confident next year. It would be great to gain a few points for Renault”.
