Ward Haas Romain Grosjean is confident that his team have made significant progress over the almost two years of existence.
Before the summer break, the team scored 29 points – the same as it was in 2016 at the end of the season.
“So far so good – quoted Grosjean in F1i. We have achieved a lot compared to last year. We have the same amount of points in 2016. If not for the problems in Melbourne, it would be another six or eight more.
The team is constantly evolving. Everyone expected that we are riding for the second year, however, the opposite happened, the team is happy.
Our expectations are met – we wanted to fight among average people. And so it happened: sometimes ahead, sometimes slightly behind.”
