Paul di Resta, who replaced last weekend feeling unwell Felipe Massa said that he had given him the hardest during the race in Hungary.
“Worst of all I had my feet because of racing shoes turned out to be a little – told racer. – I almost died [from the pain]”.
On the question of whether his candidacy more attractive on the market of pilots, he replied: “I don’t know, but I would like to get into F1 – this is for anybody not a secret, but I at least showed that they are a reliable reserve driver. I acted professionally and gained experience, not trying to jump above the head”.
Williams technical Director Paddy Lowe also noted the speech of the Scot: “Paul is incredibly fulfilled. He was not familiar with either procedure the start-up or with heating of the rubber, but still did it, didn’t get himself into trouble, said a lot of useful data after the race. It is a pity that we had not provided him with a car, able to reach the finish line”.
