Head of Mercedes Motorsport Toto Wolff said that would be glad to see Robert Kubica in F1.
After horrible rally crash in 2011, Robert first sat behind the wheel of a car F1 in 2017: on two private tests with the Renault Kubica tested a Lotus E20 2012.
“I heard that his tests went very well – said Toto in online communication with the fans of Mercedes. – I think he was able to understand how he can race with a damaged hand.
I would be glad to have him back in F1. He deserved it.
Robert is one of those talented pilots, who failed to fully demonstrate what he’s capable of. He has in the asset a victory, he was on the rise, and then there was this rally crash”.
