FIA race Director Charlie whiting spoke about what it would take Robert Kubica to return to Formula 1 after a six year break due to an injury of the right hand, which was received in the accident at rally.
“Like any other racer, Robert must have a license issued by the National Automobile Federation. To obtain the required medical examination,” said whiting in an interview with Auto Motor und Sport.
There are fears that Kubica may have problems with the implementation of the standard, which the rider must stay within five seconds when leaving the cockpit.
“Robert will not have any special support systems,” added whiting.
