Russian driver Daniil Kvyat shared his expectations from the upcoming stage at the Hungaroring.
“In Hungary I am for the first time in Formula 1 was on the podium. Very nice to remember the weekend and return to Hungary – quata quotes a press-service of the Toro Rosso. – The Hungaroring is a very interesting and difficult track, very narrow, so often referred to as “Monaco without walls”. Here you need to fly without errors. I hope I will race.
This route is difficult to overtake, so it will be very important to perform well in qualifying.
Usually in Budapest very hot, so during the race weekend you have to drink a lot of water. On racing in these conditions my physical therapist constantly reminds about it.
Budapest is a very beautiful city. I have been there many times and there really is something to see. Always advise their relatives and friends to go there.”
Difficult share Daniil Kvyat. I had to endure a Russian rider for the last two years?
The partner of Russian Toro Rosso Carlos Sainz added: “Last year’s qualifying in Hungary has become one of the best moments in the season. In the third training session I was only 15th, but in qualifying on intermediate tyres suddenly drove one of the best rounds in my life, becoming the fourth in the second segment, and got into the top ten, which was a complete surprise for us. Then I switched to rain tires and showed the sixth time. It was great!
Budapest is one of my favorite cities. There are many historical sites, good restaurants. In addition, there are amazing fans. I posted in Instagram photo, which depicted surrounded by fans – hard to find in this crowd. This support adds the features of this Grand Prix.
As for the tracks, I really like the Hungaroring. Especially fun to fly here in qualifying. The race turns out not so interesting, unless it is raining, because to overtake here difficult. In this respect, the Hungarian track reminds Monaco”.
