Director Haas Gunther Steiner said that the change of livery cars in Monaco aims to brand logos on the chassis of the VF-17 became more distinct and visible in the television picture.
Now the American team is painted in white-gray color, and the advertising logos on the VF-17 is spelled out more clearly.
When the reporter AUTOSPORT.com asked Steiner why a decision was made about the repainting of cars, he replied: “We analyzed the types of cars on a television picture, and it seemed to us that on the side pontoons logo Haas was almost unnoticeable.
Creative employees came up with something new, and gene [Haas] liked it. That’s why we changed the livery. It’s very simple.
Now we have a little different style. We’ve tried several iterations. Besides, they thought that on a white background the letters will look more clearly. We also decided to make the logo larger.
Let’s see how well our cars will look this weekend”.
