The pilot of Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen broke the lap record at the circuit in Zandvoort, which had held the Grand Prix of the Netherlands.
Max set a new record during Sunday’s demonstration in. He drove a circle on RB8 2012 1.19,511. The previous record of Zandvoort held for 16 years and belonged to Luka Badoer, drive on the Ferrari F2001 for 1.19,880.
A demonstration run was part of a big event for fans, organised a personal sponsor of Verstappen Jumbo.
Last year the auto show ‘Jumbo Racedagen driven by Max Verstappen’ called for 100 thousand spectators. It is expected that in 2017 the event will be visited by more fans.
In addition, now in Zandvoort assess the possibility of returning to F1.
