The Red Bull Racing pilot Max Verstappen will not repeat the mistakes he made on the weekend in Monte Carlo a year ago.
In 2016, the Max arrived in Monaco after a sensational victory in the Grand Prix of Spain, but on a street circuit, a young Dutchman fell from heaven to earth: due to an accident in qualifying, he was at the tail of the starting grid and in the race of his comeback was stopped by another meeting with the barrier.
And in 2015 his race in the Toro Rosso ended when he flew into the Lotus of Romain Grosjean before Sainte Devote.
“This time I’ll try to stay away from the walls, – quotes Verstappen Crash.net. – I’ve learned from past accidents. Much improvement is needed in the machine, and in the field of piloting. Now I feel good, and the past is in the past.
I can say that this year we will have more difficult than in 2016 [when Daniel ricciardo fought for victory with Lewis Hamilton]. But no one knows what will actually happen.
We always try to do their best work. If you’re going to feel comfortable in the car, it will be a big plus in the course of the weekend”.
