Racer Ferrari Kimi Raikkonen does not expect for the Monaco Grand Prix problems because of the wide cars of 2017.
This season, the Formula 1 cars are wider than 20 cm, which many fear that to pilot on the narrow street circuit in Monte Carlo will become even harder than before.
“I could be wrong, but I don’t think we expect any trouble – quoted Raikkonen Crash.net. Of course, at every track this season just feels different compared to previous years, but in the first five races was not such that someone accidentally went over the track because of the wide dimensions of the machine.
So I do not expect problems. But let’s see how will be free rides on Thursday.”
Racer Red Bull Racing Riccardo Daniel, on the contrary, expressed concern.
“On the one hand, an additional 20 cm or inches – it’s not much,’ said the Australian. But when all 20 cars will be next on such a narrow track is, of course, will be felt. So it will be important to qualify”.
