A few months ago Sergio Marchione has made it clear that in 2019, will leave the post of the General Director of Fiat-Chrysler. But as suggested by the Italian media, the post of President of Ferrari he will stay until at least 2021.
Now head of the Fiat-Chrysler John Elkann confirmed these assumptions.
“We have employees ready to replace Marchione, said Elkann in an interview with news Agency ANSA. But he could stay with Ferrari for as long as you want. Together we can achieve much”.
Since 2004 Marchione is CEO of Fiat. He is considered the mastermind of the Alliance, Fiat-Chrysler, founded in 2014.
One of the priorities Marchione is currently a revival of the brand Alfa-Romeo.
