Pilot Williams, Valtteri Bottas left a best time in the second day of the final block of pre-season tests in Barcelona.
Bottas showed 1.19,310 in the first half of the day, and then gave way to the cockpit W08 his teammate Lewis Hamilton.
If, Valtteri drove in the morning 70 laps, Lewis was subjected to a mark of 79 laps, however, the speed of the Briton was never able to catch up to Finn, losing him almost 1.4 seconds. Hamilton settled for sixth place in the final Protocol.
The top three complements Felipe Massa suddenly became the fastest yesterday, and Kimi Raikkonen. However, for Kimi the day was not in a good way: in the morning his car had technical problems, and in the afternoon he became one of the drivers that triggered the appearance of red flags.
Finn flew to the third turn, breaking his SF70H on the barrier. The pilot in the accident was not injured, however the incident meant an early end to the day for Ferrari.
Fourth in the table of results was Max Verstappen, but his day also ended in failure. An hour after the accident, Raikkonen Max parked his car in the 13th turn. The cause of the problem is unknown. By the way, Verstappen has now become the champion by quantity of circles: he was subjected to a mark of 102 laps.
The fifth day was completed lance Stroll. Last week, the young canadian had twice been the cause of early completion of work Williams, but today lance was driving carefully and quickly.
The seventh line of the Protocol took Nico Hulkenberg, and his ex-partner on the Force India Sergio Perez settled in eighth place, wraping the day 100 laps.
The ninth was Carlos Sainz from Toro Rosso, a representative of Haas Romain Grosjean rounded out the top ten.
Team McLaren once again failed to pass the required number of laps: Fernando Alonso was able to record in the asset only 46. Technical problems had an impact on the development of Marcus Ericsson and Jolyon Palmer: the Swede managed to ride 46 laps, but the Briton is 29. 11th place in the table of results is left for Pascal Wehrlein.
