Racer for the development of the Sauber Tatiana Calderon admitted that the opportunity to try their hand at driving a F1 car will depend on its results in GP3.

23-year-old racer will hold several sessions on the simulator in Graz and will also participate in the work of the team during several weekends in F1.
Calderon switched from team Arden and DAMS before this season GP3.
“This year I will continue to compete in GP3 for the team DAMS, and results in the series will be my main priority, as these will affect my chance to test the technique of F1, said Calderon. – Sauber F1 will give me all the necessary information, I will work together with the engineers, to come to the race and a lot of work on the simulator.
Hopefully, by the end of the year due to the good results and working on the simulator will give me a chance to try out the F1 car”.
On the question of whether to grant her the opportunity to participate in the tests during the season, Tatiana said, “Yes, this issue is addressed, but the final decision yet.
Of course, I would like to get a place in F1, but who knows when the opportunity will appear. Now I just need to show their best side, and as soon as the slightest opportunity, it is important not to lose her. That is why the upcoming season will be for me one of the crucial in your career.”
Last year Calderon finished 21st in the overall standings GP3.
