T2 grandstand of Sochi Autodrom will now bear the name of the first in the history of Russian pilot of Formula 1 Vitaly Petrov.
Grandstand is located on one of the turns of the race track. It was here that the fans can see extreme braking cars with a speed of 339 km/h before a difficult section of the road, barely exceeding the mark of hundred meters.
In just a few seconds the pilot is experiencing overload more than 5g, and the pressing force on the brake pedal is 126 kg. for the Second twist gives racers extreme challenge, and the slightest error can lead to crashes and the loss of precious seconds.

Now at Sochi Autodrom tribunes are two names of the riders of the Royal race. In 2014 T3 grandstand was named in honor of the current Russian pilot in F1, competing for team Toro Rosso, Daniil Kvyat.
