World champion in 2016 Nico Rosberg impressed with the technical regulations for 2017, which produced new cars.
In 2017, the new machine should be four to five seconds faster with a lap due to the new aerodynamics and wider tyres Pirelli.
This morning Nico visited the Mercedes garage, where he talked with the mechanics, as well as with Valtteri Bottas, after which showed his opinion on the new generation vehicles.
“Now around the new machines runs so much talk that I personally decided to take a look,’ said Rosberg. They look intimidating, very aggressive.
I am sure that riders like it. In 2017 they will become real gladiators, as these cars will test their physical endurance. Perhaps we will even witness the moments when the pilots will miss out on winning races because of physical fatigue.
I expect that Mercedes will be ahead of the rest this year. It is a great team. But this is just my guess – we’ll see how things will actually. But it is already clear that Mercedes have designed a good car. It is no surprise”.
When Niko asked whether he regrets about his retirement from F1 in the light of new fast cars, he replied: “not at All. Now I’m very happy.”
Recall now that Rosberg is an Ambassador for Mercedes.
