Rookie of the Formula 1 lance Stroll has shared his impressions of the third day of testing this week.
In the morning session, the 18-year-old canadian drove 85 laps and by the end of the day was the 13th.
“Good morning. I worked on the long series into Medium and got used to the car on these tires. Managed to drive many circles, – quotes Strolla press-service of Williams. – I continue to settle in the car, so the morning was positive. I have yet to try the tyre Ultrasoft, but I am pleased, as is my adaptation”.
Strolla partner on the team Felipe Massa got behind the wheel FW40 day after 80 laps and became the 12th.
“Today, our car ran 165 laps – said the Brazilian. – Because of the red flags we were not able to conduct a full simulation of the race with pit stops, but nevertheless we passed the scheduled distance.
The fact that we have overcome two races, suggests that FW40 reliable, and that’s good.
I’m ready for the start of the season. Tomorrow I will not be driving, but I hope that the team will hold another great day with lance.
I hope we will successfully start the season in Australia and will be able to use all the knowledge gained in the tests, the preparation machine to the first race.”
