In Portugal ready to take the race in February and I think that the Algarve would be a convenient place for most teams, based relatively close to Western Europe.
“Race of the Formula 1 is really good and interesting for us and for tourism, – quotes the owner of the track, Paulo Pinheiro F1i. – Economic effect and impact of the media is huge, especially during the low tourist season in February.”
The circuit in the Algarve have yet to receive the approval of the FIA to take the Grand Prix. Pinheiro said that they intend to get a formal approval after the changes are necessary for more fast cars 2017.
“We believe that this process will be completed in the coming days,” he added.

In the municipality of portimão has officially stated that they are interested in returning to Formula 1 race in Portugal, which last hosted the Grand Prix in 1996.
Prime Minister of Portugal Antonio Costa supported the idea.
